Haiku You...

poetry

I missed haiku day
Yesterday should have been it
But today will do

Haiku has strict rules
I only follow the count
Rules are for others

Bombs drop from the sky
Drones are flying overhead
Peace through war? Insane.

The mood is not good
The world spinning off kilter
Still we must survive

April showers done
May flowers are up early
June gloom comes too soon

Sunny Saturday
The world is bright and cheerful
Let's try to enjoy

Coffee might not help
But maybe it will cure all
No harm in trying

April haiku done
Three weeks of poems complete
One more week, Skippy.
