There Once Was...
fiction
poetry
There once was a woman from Hillsboro
She did her own research and was quite thorough
And what she discovered,
She might never recover
Most people are as dumb as a burro
(present company excluded, of course)
There once was a woman from New Mexico
When her husband proposed she said let's go
They moved all around
And soon what they found
Was each place was its own sort of shit show
(okay, that's not exactly true, but it rhymes)
(and also, yeah, that's sort of true)
There once was a family from Portland
That decided they had to take a stand
So on every No Kings
They break out their rings
And hope that their punches all land
(Never a bad time to punch a Nazi)
Okay, that's it for a quick Sunday session. Sorry, Skippy, but April is five weeks, so one more left.
